Given the opportunity to brand French Broad River Brewery in Asheville, NC, I drew inspiration from the river itself. The French Broad is one of the oldest rivers on Earth and supports more than 50 at-risk animal species. Design elements across taps, gear, and packaging were informed by the river’s ecosystem. Each can showcased a native species accompanied by a brief informational blurb. I proposed allocating a portion of proceeds to river conservation, though I cannot confirm that this was implemented. Overall, the project provided a valuable opportunity to develop a distinctive brewery identity from concept through execution.
