When Milwaukee tools opened it’s first US factory in decades, Channellock lost a major point of differentiation.* I proposed Channellock troll Milwaukee’s social, thus getting their (very passionate) fanboys arguing with Milwaukee fanboys regarding where their tools are made. Driving up engagement and earning free media and street cred.
* Channellock has is owned and has made tools in the USA for over a century, Milwaukee was reshoring under it’s 5th multinational holding company.
